The first edition of this festival is scheduled to take place at the Elvira, Europa, Union, Corso cinema halls in Bucharest. More than 100 short-feature productions from all over the world will be shown, and also 20 long-feature animation productions. O representative production will also pe showed in Cluj, at Cinema Victoria.
The animation movies are suitable for all age categories, starting with small children (as there are movies without dialogues) and ending with grown-ups. The mature audience will be delighted to enjoy fresh productions, very interesting for their ideas and technics.
Romanian animation is making a powerfull comeback on screen through a vast retrosepctive. A series of progams will present the latest trends in British, Iranian and Czech animation. Anim'est will present all the short-feature films of John Dilworth, at the Europa and Union cinemas.
