The 27 discs that will be included in the huge box are filled with various remixes, BBC sessions, audio concerts and over 20 songs which were never before released, all in all over 130 and songs and about 12 hours of music, with enough rarities for even the biggest fans. Also, on the DVDs and Blu-ray discs we will find rare video recordings of live performances, interviews, documentaries, feature films, as well as a collection of about 40 posters, concert tickets, flyers and photographs (of course, copies reproducing the originals, but nevertheless fascinating as they offer a glimpse into the early Pink Floyd). And to top it all collectors will find here five vinyl singles, reproducing the first five Pink Floyd singles ever released in the UK. So if you didn't have a chance of finding the first pressings in some expensive online shop you can now finally own them.
As it is suitable for such a product the 27 discs are presented in seven book-like volume, elegant and exclusive, dividing the music and films chronologically, as chapters in what seemed at the time a neverending story. And the rarities never cease to surprise you: rare concert recordings, both video and audio, forgotten interview, short documentaries, impossible to find elsewhere alternative versions of early songs. And the list goes on and on. Although a tad expensive, this is the best buy a Pink Floyd (and music fan alike) could do at the end of the year. If only the band would continue with similar box sets dedicated to the rest of it's career.
