To escape the winter for a few days, Belize is a tropical destination. Located in Central America bordering the southeast of Mexico and Guatemala, it is known for its stunningly crystal clear waters and sandy beaches, as well as Maya archeological sites.
If you like water sports, you can enjoy doing scuba diving, fishing or snorkeling, explore the underwater caves and the wildlife sanctuary with its fabulos flora and fauna. One of the top places to visit is Caye Caulker if you want to dive in the clear water filled with coral.
The holiday is not complete if you don’t visit the villages from Belize. It is an amazing experience to see and to explore the real life in a fishing village for instance. There everyone is able to see the traditional Belizean way of living.
