| SUMMER COURSES OF ROMANIAN LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION 15th Edition august 16th - september 4th, 2005 http://www.litere.uvt.ro/cursuri_vara.htm Summer Courses Program The Summer Courses of Romanian Language, Culture and Civilization take place between august 16th and September 5th, 2005. Crash courses in Standard Romanian are offered at three levels: for beginners, intermediate students and advanced students. At the beginning of the programme, a test will establish the level of the course you will be taking. In addition to these language courses the programme acquainting you with the Romanian literature, culture and civilization contains debates, round-table talks, introductory workshops on Romanian folk music and dance, visits at various institutions, sight seeing and opportunities to meet important personalities of Romanian cultural life. The course comprises a translation workshop and text interpretation based on various Romanian literary works. In order to come as close as possible to your interests and wishes we should be much obliged if you would mention in the enrolment form which of the activities offered interest you. A trip at the end of the course and several weekend outings are included in the course price-package. The course price package also includes handbooks and other materials elaborated by the academic staff of The University of the West in Timisoara.
