On February 10th 2009 the famous musician Sting will play for the very first time in Bucharest, at the Palace Hall, offering the fans the long-awaited chance of seeing him on stage. The future concert is part of the world tour for promoting Sting's latest album, "Songs from the Labyrinth, recorder togather with Edin Karamazov, an important contemporary musician, who hekped Sting find new sounds and create fresh and unusual songs.
Best remembered for his activity in the legendary group The Police, Sting has also enjoyed a highly successful solo career, launching several albums, which have sold in more than 100 million copies all around the world. So far, the artist has also been awared several dozen awards, among them no less than 16 Grammy Awars, and his solo singles have often topped the most important musical tops. The new album, launched in 2006, has done the same and even went number 1 in the Billboard.
Although the setlist for the Bucharest concert is not yet known, surely the artist will play not only songs from the fresh album, but also older hits, and fans are sure to have a blast. The tickets for this long-awaited performance will be on sale starting next week.
