The Louvre Museum in Paris will host between 12 July - 15 October 2007 the exhibition "Siecle d'Or - Siecle des Lumieres" (Century of Gold - Century of Lights), dedicated to Spanish art of drawing in the 17th - 18th century. The curators have chosen around 60 works, representative for the Spanish school of drawing at that time, mainly compositions by Murillo, Ribeira and Alonso Cano (17th century) and many of Goya's drawings, selected from his albums and sketchbooks (18th century).
The exhibition will be an useful adition to the Camille Corot drawing exhibition, scheduled to take place between 31 May - 27 August 2007.
