The country's economy is fueled mainly by the revenues brought by the 26 cantons of Switzerland, named also Cantons Country, revenues who complete the state's budget from the touristic activities.
To the Swiss Tourism Awards (October 29 - November 1), an annual event that promotes the good quality tourism, was also invited the city of Sighisoara.
The mayors of Mures county attended to the event for the prizprize e granted to Romania in the category named Destination to be discovered. The name accorded to the prize was Sighisoara, the medieval jewel of Romania.
