Fourth storyteller (the philosopher storyteller)
Thursday, March 19, 19.00
*Monica Brandusescu*
One paper, one path and the temptation of a game.
Gradually, the stories have lowered their thematic thread from heaven, populated by gods, enveloped in mystery, towards earthly cares and human worries. The story isn't there just to keep the human company, in front of his own fears, but also to teach him to adapt to social live situations, to new challenges he may come across. This situation is seen, more often, nuanced, in corporate strategies. So much that, we hear more and more, in conferences, lectures, that an genuine leader is the one who has a powerful story, being able to self-generate his own legend, by inducing through his fascinating strengh the employees, partners and collaborators' devotion.
Monica Brandusescu graduated philosophy of culture at Bucharest University. She also graduated Ecole Doctorale Francophone en Sciences Sociales, Europe Centrale et Orientale, with a case study on anti- totalitarian culture on a publishing house (Humanitas) in after '89 Romania.
"Storyteller" is a lecture series part of the exhibition "Statement" curated by Lia Perjovschi.
