Russian Ballet Gala comes in Romania after the success from 2008, with a show of the greatest moments in the history of ballet, which will take place Sunday evening, 23 May 2010, at the Palace Hall in Bucharest.
Some of the biggest names in russian ballet will be present in the show which is on schedule fragments from big assemblings of the genre, in the coreography of I.Grigorovici, M. Petipa, V. Vasiliev, D. Breantsev, C. Viharev and many others, informs Agerpres.
The program includes in the first part of the show Pas-de-deux from from the ballet Nutcracker, P.I. Ceaikovski, fragment from the ballet Spartacus, Aram Haciaturian, Pas de deux from Giselle, Adolph Adam, Pas de deux from Sleeping Beauty, P.I. Tchaikovsky, Swan Death, Charles-Camille Saint-Saens and a fragment from Swan Lake, P. I. Tchaikovsky.
In the second part of the show the Russian Ballet will present: Romantic Duet from the ballet Phantom ball, The Jester from the ballet Kings of the Sun, fragment from Romeo and Juliet, Sergei Prokofiev, Adagio from the ballet Shopeniana, Frederic Chopin, Pas de deux from the ballet Corsair, Adolph Adam and Grand pas de deux from the ballet Don Quijote, Ludwig Minkus.
