Specialist in phonetics, the arogant and ironic proffesor Henry Higgins makes a bet with his friend, the Colonel Pickering, that he will transform a modest and vulgar florist, Eliza Doolittle, into a real duchess, also learning her how to speak like the good people of the London society.
