The Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi is already well known not only in his home country, but all around the world, and it is only fair and necessary that important museum present his great talent and originality. The respected Museum of Modern Art in New York City, USA, is hosting between the 2nd of May and the 27th of August a important exhibition dedicated to the artist, who, according to critics, has managed to radically change drawing as we knew it. For Perjovschi, drawing can be used not only to create an object, but also a performance, an installation, is all powerfull and fascinating.
Over the last decade, Perjovschi's works have found their way into the public eye and in prestigious museums. The exhibition at the MOMA is Dan Perjovschi's first solo exhibition in the USA, and is made in his own personal and distinct style, as the artist will draw compositions, inspired by actual and current events, on the very wall of The Donald B. and Catherine C. Marron Atrium. Starting on the 19th of April the artist could have been admired at work, during visiting hours, and the visitors had the chance of watching with emotion how his incisive and satirical compositions come to life.
