"Physics of the Future" is a book that examines what life might be like at the end of the current century. What to expect: X-Ray Vision, doubled life spams, robots everywhere…
Michio Kaku is a physicist, a founder of string field theory and the host of an appealing show on the Science Channel called "Sci Fi Science." To write this book he interviewed more than 300 scientists who are performing forward-looking work in areas like computers, medicine, nanotechnology, space exploration and energy production.
He writes about the global positioning system (GPS), about genial robots and is wondering if they are "specifically designed to hunt, track and kill humans" and about what might happen should they fall into the wrong hands or go berserk.
He also fears the global warming but even more the terrostist, "who would prefer to go back a millennium, to the 11th century, rather than live in the 21st century."
"Physics of the Future" by Michio Kaku makes Earth seem like a very lonely planet because of the human being.
