Okun Edward

Edward Okun, Polish symbolist painter. He was also a draftsman and illustrator. He was born on the 27 September 1872 and died in 1945. He studied Warsaw, Munich and Paris. He lived in Rome for a long time and between 1925 - 1930 he was a Professor of the Warsaw Academy. He exhibited for the first time in Poland in 1893, then in Paris, Berlin and Munich.
