The “zone pietonne” is a place where every tourist should take a walk. This is the place with the most amazing souvenirs, restaurants, clothing shops, bookstores, cafes and more. The Theatre de la Photographie et de l’Image is another wonderful place to visit in Nice. The museum hosts exhibits of universal appeal.
The Russian Cathedral is another tourist attraction and it represents just one of the many Russian attractions in the city. Perhaps it is an odd thing, but the explanation is the fact that the Russian aristocracy used Nice as a balmy getaway and left their indelable mark on the Riviera city.
The Russians weren't the first to remark the beauty of Nice, the ancient Romans also called the area home. Visitors can enjoy the sight of the ruins of a Roman arena and bathhouses, which are next to the Nice Archaeology Museum and Roman Ruins.
