Romanian composer, Paul Constantinescu was born on June 30, 1909 in Ploiesti. Member of the Romanian Academy, he was also profesor of harmony, counterpoint and composition at the Academy of Religious Music. He died on 20 december 1963, in Bucharest.
The house where we can find today the museum named Paul Constantinescu was initialy the house of the composer brother. All the exhibits that can be viewed remember us about the life and work of the musician.
The record that are exposed in the museum are a cultural reflection of the spiritual wealth that the composer brought to the romanian music.
The museum was inaugurated on 20 december 1993 at the fulfilment of three decades from the departure of the composer and teacher Paul Constantinescu from this world.
