The world's most famous cabarets in the world opened its doors more than 120 years ago. In 1889 Joseph Oller and Charles Zidler opened a new music hall in Paris and named it "Moulin Rouge". They also gave it another name "Le Premier Palais des Femmes", that means "The first palace of women". Moulin Rouge soon become the "temple of music and dance" and gained a reputation for being the place where men could see young women who danced in an unique way. Here they could see the famous dance Can - Can, which has nowadays a great success.
The spectacles were in the early years vulgar and caused public outrage. During this period the artist Henri de Toulouse - Lautrec was responsabile for the famous Moulin Rouge scenes. In the later years it lost its reputation as a brothel and became a respecatble fashionable music theatre, which thanks to its glamourous shows attracted the high class of the society.
Today Moulin Ruge remains the most famous cabaret in the whole world with an extraordinary show, that features more than 100 performers dressed with the most extravagant costumes. The prime soloist is a Romanian young talented men. The entertainment is only for the adult visitors, the children are not allowed to take part at the spectacle.
