The year of 2007 begins in Bucharest with an extraordinary concert at the famous hall Ateneul Roman, an event dedicated to those who love both classical music and a splendid concert. Mathew Barley and Bianca Manoleanu are offering two superb concerts on the 11th and 12th of January, at Ateneul Roman in Bucharest.
Mathew Blake has studied cello in Moscow, and the art of this instrument has become his trademark worldwide, from Europe to Australia, as he played his own compositions, as well as the music of Bach, pieces written especially for him and various and many impromptues. His music has always surprised the audience. At this time he plays for the National Orchestra of Italy, Scotland, for the Philharmonic in Buenos Aires and for the George Enescu Philharmonic. Mathew Barley will perform togather with soprano Bianca Manoleanu, considered to be one of the best and most elegant voices in the delicate and pretentious genre that is the lied. Bianca Manoleanu is working with the philharmonic orchestras in Bucharest and in other Romanian cities, chosing her music from a vast and varied repertoire, ranging from Pre-Classical compositions to contemporary music.
