Biography
Thomas Mark Harmon (born September 2, 1951 in Burbank, California) is an American actor. Harmon is currently the star of the CBS series NCIS.

A Handsome, blue eyed leading man who has played leading roles in both TV and films. But his small screen success has yet to mirror his big screen career.
He portrayed doctors in two previous series, Dr. Jack McNeil on Chicago Hope and Dr. Bobby Caldwell on St. Elsewhere. One of his more famous movie roles was as Mr. Freddy Shoop in Summer School. Harmon also appeared in the Emergency! episode 905-wild.
He is the son of College Football All-American University of Michigan football legand and Heisman Trophy winner Tom Harmon, and of well-known actress, Elyse Knox.
His sisters are Kristin Nelson, a renown American primitive artist, and former actress Kelly Harmon.
Harmon is married to actress Pam Dawber, with whom he has two sons: Sean Thomas Harmon (born April 26, 1988) and Ty Christian Harmon (born June 25, 1992).
Harmon attended UCLA and, following in his father's athletic footsteps, was the starting quarterback for the UCLA Bruins in 1972 and 1973. He was also awarded the National Football Foundation Award for All-Round Excellence in 1973.
