Foto: img.carpati.org- Margau commune from Cluj, located in a mountainous area dominated by beautiful mountains Vladeasa, has a total area of 21.157 ha, representing 3.17% from the county. The commune is composed by six villages named Margau, Buteni, Ciuleni, Bociu, Scrind-Frasnet, Rachitele, and other two hamlets belonging to Rachitele.
The administrative territory of the municipality is located in the western part of the country, entering in contact with Bihor county. According to the actual documents this wonderful place has in the vicinity four communes from Cluj county (Belis, Sacuieu, Calatele) and one from Bihor County (Budureasa).
The access into the village is made from Cluj on DN1 (E60). The contact with the national road is made on DJ108C, a road that crosses the entire commune: Buteni, Margau, Scrind-Frasinet, Rachitele, Doda-Pilii, other villages being connected to Margau through DC 123.
