- Madalina Manole was born on 14 July 1967 in Prahova county, Valenii de Munte. She died on 14 July 2010 in her house from Baneasa, Romania.
Madalina Manole was a great singer, songwriter and also instrumentalist.
After studying the guitar, first lessons being taught by Ana Tetelea Ionescu, a folk interpreter from Ploiesti, Madalina Manole began writing music on the lyrics of renowned poets. The first was her own composition, called New autumn.
Madalina Manole made her musical debut at 15 years in Prahova at the Youth Circle. With Stefania Ghita she puts the base for a duo named Alpha and Beta, participating in this form the Flame Circle shows from that period. Becomes the youngest member that sings for the Festivities of the Circle for Free Press. She sings along with Victor Socaciu, Gheroghe Gheorghiu, Mircea Rusu, red and black band and many other great names on the romanian musical scene.
Between 1982 and 1985, Madalina Manole attended to the Popular Art School at the class of Ionel Tudor - Mihaela Runceanu and she becomes employee at the Otopeni Airport as auxiliary air-traffic controller. Dan Stefan entrusts her the song There can not be another sky for us appearing on the soundtrack of Nelu, directed by Dorin Doroftei. On this occasion she plays the first role in a movie.
In 1988 Madalina Manole participates in Mamaia Festival with A sentimental man written by Serban Georgescu. This is the beginning of a successful collaboration between the two of them.
In 1991 the album achieved gold disc for the song Pretty girl. In the same year she founded the national fan club Madalina Manole led by the students Ciprian Antochi and Claudia Panait. The fan club has 25 branches in Romania.
From 1991, Madalina Manole begins the tournament series in the United States, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Germany and France. After the album Pretty girl, Madalina Manole receives two other gold discs for sales that reached at two million units (LP and MC). The 7 Extra Magazine said that Madalina Manole is Patricia Kaas of Romania.
In 1997, released the album Smooth, smooth Madalina, after recording two notable first plays. Madalina Manole becomes in the same year the first name from the romanian pop music scene that is included in the catalog of a great international music producer - PolyGram Group (by Zone Records Romania).
In 1997 she presented with Octavian Ursulescu the anniversary edition of the International Festival Golden Stag from Brasov Drama Theatre. Madalina Manole is chosen by Procter & Gamble International concern for her image to be used in Romania to launch a cosmetic product. From this moment she is called the girl with hair of fire, alluding to the hair color in the spotlight.
In 1997 was founded the Madalina Manole Cultural Association with a cultural and humanitarian nature.
In 2000 she obtained awards for best performer and best pop female voice of the year in Romania. Receives also the Radio Awards and Music Industry Awards in Romania.
In 2000, the album Verry sweet is considered the best pop album by Radio Romania News.
