Besides Bucharest you can also choose Riga for example. Riga, located in the Republic of Latvia, country of the Baltic region of the Northern Europe Riga, is a UNESCO Listed Centre. To the north of its borders, at 343 km is Estonia, to the south at 588 km is Lithuania and to the east at a distance of 276 km is the Russian Federation.
It is also a stunning medieval capital city. If you decide to go to Riga be shure you will visit the Old Town of Riga. Here you will find also some of the most wonderful examples of the German style Art Nouveau architecture.
Ljubliana, Slovenia, is another bargain easy to find. Slovenia's little and colourful capital city has an attractive Old Town clustered around a medieval castle.
