Jose Carreras, one of the greatest tenors ever and one of the living legends of opera worldwide, will return to Bucharest on October 4th 2008, for a new concert, presented at Sala Palatului. Since it is not the first time that Jose Carreras brings the magic of his unique voice to Bucharest, the concert will surely be another sold-out event. Over the course of his lengthy career Jose Carreras has become known as one of the very best opera singers, after more than 60 roles and recording over 150 albums, among which no less that 50 were full operas. A distinguished career, that is hard to imitate or even come close by.
Also, together with Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti, he was a part of the Three Tenors, from 1990 until 2003, and the three had several prestigious and highly successful concerts all over the world. The Bucharest concert will most likely be a success. But also a chance for many to discover or rediscover the complicated magic of opera music.
