The new edition of the Glasgow Art Fair 2007 will open on Thursday, 19th of April 2007 and will close on Sunday, 22nd of April 2007. The organisers have chosen the very heart of Glasgow, George Square, and the huge tent-like structures will most likely not be missed by art lovers and collectors from all around the world. In the four days of discoveries, buys and sells more than 16.000 visitors are expected to attend.
Considered to be the most important and prestigious contemporary art fair in the Great Britain, outside of London, the Glasgow Art Fair has had it's first edition in 1996. For this edition 43 of the best galleries in Scotland, UK and Europe have been chosen, exhibiting the works of more than 1000 artists.
