Gianna Nannini, the original Italian rock artist, will play live in Bucharest, Romania, for the very first time, an event that will be a treat for her fans and a pleasant surprise and discovery for those who do not know much about the artist. The concert will take place on September 22nd 2008, starting with 20.00 hours, at the Arenele Romane, one of the most popular places for live performances in Bucharest.
After 25 years the singer - who is also a violin and guitar player, a composer, a talented piano performer and so on - will be presenting a setlist featuring some of the best of her newest album, as well as some older compositions. Her latest album, Pia come la canto io, was released in 2007 and was considered an intricate and complicated compositions, a rock opera which was surprising for all.
