ART on DISPLAY invites you on Wednesday, 29th of June, 7 PM for the opening of Nona Inescu exhibition “Her Latent Image”.
“Her Latent Image” presents Nona Inescu’s graduation project at the University of Fine Arts from Bucharest, Photo-Video Department, coordinated by Professor Iosif Kiraly.
After studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (2010-2011) and at Chelsea College of Art & Design in London (2009-2010), Nona Inescu is currently completing her graduate studies at the National University of Arts in Bucharest (Photography and Video department). Her art practice is interdisciplinary and encompasses photography, sculpture, installation and digital art, her works incorporate poetic, historical references, challenge our conventional ways of viewing and thinking and open up new possibilities for deciphering The Symbolic. Nona Inescu’s debut solo show – "Hands don’t make magic"– took place in October 2015, at Sabot.

ART on DISPLAY project, initiated and organised by Ephemair Association in 2014, is reflecting the Romanian contemporary art realities through the window of the shops displays placed in unused or unsafe buildings for the public access, activating Bucharest urban spaces and signaling the never-ending issue of urban comfort in the city through artists interventions and site specific installations.
The collaboration of ART o DISPLAY program with Kube Musette will continue this year with other six site-specific installations in the following months.
Between 1-15th of November Ephemair Association will organise the third edition of ART on DISPLAY extended in the city in more locations.
