Amsterdam, the capital city of Netherland, is the symbol of the liberal values. Besides the fact that the metropola is well known for the decriminalisation of drugs and prostitution, it has a lot more to offer. It is the city of many canals, a small number of cars and a very many bicycles. That means that the citizens protect their life by making sport and by guarding the environment. The tall buildings, with many colors, the thin alley and the water streets makes any visitor return in Amsterdam and enjoy the charm of the history.
Another interesting town is Berlin with his great wall, which is the symbol of the reunification and progression of the East and West German nations. Very impressive is the Brandenburg Gate in the middle of the city. Nowadays Berlin is a mixture between past and future, between history and modernism.
Vienna is an historic splendor and grandeur, which seems to be designed as “a visual accompaniment to one of Mozart's more dramatic symphonies”. The Schönbrunn or the Hofburg Palace, the Opera, the Town Hall, the marvellous parks and sights make this city a memorable place.
Istanbul, ancient city, called once Constantinople, straddles Asia and Europe, was called in history “the centre of the world”. The most spectacular places that a visitor should visit are for sure Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace but also their amazing markets.
