Biography
Daniel was divorced from Cheryl Baldwin with whom he had a daughter by the name of Kahlea who was born in 1985, and actress Elizabeth Baldwin (1990 - 1996) with whom he had two daughters. He is presently married to actress Isabella Hofmann, and they have one child, a son by the name of Atticus who was born on 13 July 1996. Atticus was named after the character in Daniel's favorite movie To Kill a Mockingbird from [1962].
Besides his three famous actor brothers, Alec, Stephen, and William, Daniel has a sister named Jane Sasso and a sister named Elizabeth Keuchler. He is also the cousin of actor Joseph Baldwin. His mother, Carol Martineau Baldwin, is a breast cancer survivor and the founder of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center of the University Hospital and Medical Center at Stony Brook.
TV Appearances
From 1993 to 1995, Daniel Baldwin was a regular on the cast of the television series Homicide: Life on the Street. His wife, Isabella Hofmann, also acted in the series.
In 2005, Baldwin was featured in VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, a reality show in which overweight celebrities compete to see who can shed the most pounds. Baldwin is the team captain of "The Eastsiders," which also features rapper Biz Markie, plus-size model Mia Tyler and actor Joe Gannascoli (or, in Biz's words, "Joe Scanoli"). Baldwin leads his team by example, and is known for devising crafty schemes to sabotage the weight-loss efforts of the members of the opposing team, "Ralphie's Angels", captained by Judge Mablean Ephriam from Divorce Court. Baldwin's own health habits are the subject of much debate. On the show, Baldwin claims to have "been sober now for a number of years," but rumors persist that he was spotted severely inebriated in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as recently as last year.
Baldwin has also recently starred in the science fiction/mystery series Anonymous Rex, based on the novels of Eric Garcia.
