- The motto the guides Cream is if you really want something, fight and you will get it. In career and in her personal life, Cream said in many press statements that she is confident in her talent and only so she managed to have at 22 years an interesting musical career, with notable results on the Romanian music market.
Encouraged by family, Cream, Claudia Pavel, born on Octomber 19, in Mangalia, she began to fight for her dream at the age of seven.
In time she cultivated her talent and the remarcable voice and at 15 years made her debut in the Romanian music scene, in the band Candy.
Even the success was consierable, Claudia decided to go for a solo career, in a moment when being a member in adance band, you could hae a warm place in the Romanian music.
Claudia said that she always wanted to sing solo and Candy was only one step in her musical career.
Confident in her powers she risked and saw her dream come true. The first solo album was named Belive in me and is a maxi-single that contains four songs and two remixes. The first single from this EP is the song Closer, that made the summer of 2002 to burn.
Waiting means a one year period of recording and preparation. In this period Claudia worked very hard for her career, took canto and choreography lessons. With all this she never forgot another dream, being an actress. In the autumn of 2003 she was admitted to the Theatre and Movie Faculty, class Virgil Ogasanu.
In November 2003, at the age of 19, Claudia released the first single from the album Waiting. The song was called Close your eyes, and was composed by Marius Moga and Smiley from Simplu band, specialy for Cream.
The song, supported by a well done video, goes up in the charts and in december is on the way to the hit status.
The music video for the song Close your eyes was designed and developed by Marian Crisan. The filming took place over two days in several locations like the Golf Club of Diplomats, Remat and the roof of the Architecture Faculty.
After this song followed Your Half, besides the Simplu band. A slow R&B very romantic, with lyrics that talk about the obstacles and difficulties that occur in love. He is always away, on tour, she is home, alone. The main female character of the story is Claudia.
In 2005 Cream is back with another album, called I want you. But Not in the first night. A song signed by Marius Moga and an advice for all the girls. Claudia says that she is not the feminist type and according to the situation she is with men and women equally.
The last album signed Cream is called 24 hours and the song chosen for a video is Vanilla Cream. The shootings, which lasted over 15 hours were held on the National Theatre stage, with some special guests like Marius Moga, Smiley and Matteo.
