The famous Japanese musician Atsuko Temma returns two Romania for two extraordinary concerts, hosted by Ateneul Roman. Misha Katz, the famous conductor, will share the stage with Atsuko and the two will certainly provide an excellent performance. For the Romanian audience the name Atsuko Temma is already well-known, for the Japanese artist has helped in promoting Romanian music during the concerts played in her home country. She is on of the few Oriental artists ever to perform in Japan Ciprian Porumbescu's Ballad.
A great talent, Atsuko has studied with some of the most important musicians, such as Yushio Unno, Leonid Kogan, Herman Krebbers, and has successfully performed allover the world. She chose to return to Romania, not only because of the love she has for our music, but also for the warm audience.
Misha Katz, the conductor who will share the stage with her, is one of the most important conductors in today's music. Born in Rostov, he studied at the Conservatory in Moscow. He is one of the founders of "Shostakovich Trio". His father, Leonid Katz, was the first to give him conducting lessons. Misha Katz has conducted some of the most important orchestras in the whole world and has appeared in many concerts in cities like Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Paris, Moscow, London.
