The base of this collection consists in the paint and graphic works of Ligia Macovei. In collection there are works signed by Pallady, Tuculescu, N.H. Maxy, ceramic pieces and textiles, gathered from all the world.

Ligia Macovei was born in 1916 in Bucharest, Romania, and her entire life was dedicated to thepainting and graphics.
She also made ilustration books and her interpretation is sensible with a fluid painting and expresionist influences in her works.
Pompiliu Macovei was the most titled post-war architect. He also was a professor , head architect of the Romanian capital, in the socialist realism, president of the UAR and minister of culture and deputy foreign minister. He resisted for all political changes without reproof.
