- The band was made by Avi and Rudi. The two have spent almost the entire high school years together. They befriended at the DJ console, where they put music in the short pauses between classes. Since then they have worked on all projects that have involved one or another.
The first project initiated by the two of them was Wetland, who remained underground, being known only by their friends and those in their home town of Arad.
In 1999 was founded the project Activ. The first track signed by Activ, Sounds, was sent in to the competition organized by Atomic TV station Za House, where they took the prize for best House band.
After this first step followed the album Sounds, in 1999, from the album being extracted for a video the traks Sounds and In the Night.
The second album was In trance, worked in the spring of 2001. With the In Trance album Oana Nistor from Activ complemented the band formula, being chosen by the both members as vocalist. Single extracts from this album were: Together, Through Clouds and DC? .
Rudy is a Capricorn from Arad, a student and lover of everything that is music. It's hardcore collector of Matchbox (cars of iron) he has this passion for 18 years. Also he has a passion for cars (real this time!). This passion made him to choose his future profession. He was a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic University of Timisoara). Between the two childhood dreams (car design and music) he chosed the second because it is more feasible, although did not gave up to the design.
Oana, born in midsummer, loves the sun. A true cancer she chose a career in Economics, but the Activ project took over completely, and all her free time is occupied.
Oana's favorite album is Guns'N'Roses - Spaghetti Incident and the three things she would take on a desert island are: Lip Stick, GSM and face cream.
Avi was born 25 years ago in Arad and he is an atypical Sagittarius because he is saying that he does not find himself in the characteristics of his zodiac sign.
He studies the electronics and telecomunications at the Multimedia College. Because he is working at a radio station he listens music in every important moment in his life.
In 2004 the album Reasons was released. An album rewarded with the gold disc for sales of 35,000 units. The two singles from the album, Only You and Dream occupied first place in specialized charts several weeks in a row, ahead of international hits. Only You and Dream were released in heavy - rotation for moths. Reasons was a turning point in the Activ band, their style evolved but keeping optimistic notes and specify the color of youth.
The second album was released under the Roton brand being called SuperStar, in September 2005.
